I am a professional speaker who has been working in Malta for the last 10 years. I speak English, French, Maltese, and Italian fluently. As an experienced presenter, I love to teach people how to improve their communication skills.
In Malta, I focused all of my work on the Malta Residency by Investment program, helping both the government as well as many international and local immigration consultancy firms develop their permanent residency consultancy efforts.
I have worked as a consultant for various international companies such as Barclays Bank, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, as well as local ones such as ACC, RC International, and Malta Citizenship & Residency Law Firm.
But of the most interesting and impactful partnerships was with Global Citizen Solutions and their consultants for the Malta Residency by Investment program.
With several years of experience across other similar programs in other countries, both in Europe and Caribbean countries, the company was willing to bring its expertise into the Maltese market while attracting local players to join their efforts.
By teaching local agents effective communication skills and expertise about the residency program, the company was able to secure a great share of the Maltese residency program.
Local Context
Malta has become a favorite destination for foreign investors looking to establish themselves in Europe. The island nation offers several benefits, including low taxes and a stable economy.
Malta has been ranked as one of the top European tax havens for several years in a row. In addition to being attractive to wealthy individuals, Malta also provides a favorable environment for companies seeking to relocate their headquarters or expand into new markets.
“Malta residency by investment” is a relatively new concept. This program allows foreigners to invest in real estate and other assets in exchange for Maltese citizenship.
What Communication Skills Were Taught?
By bringing into local agents effective business communication skills and improving how they speak in public, the company has stayed ahead of the local competitors and was able to long-lasting client relationships and a network of local experts that helped grow their market presence.
And those communication skills improvements were done with a series of monthly sessions done mainly with the following courses which I am a certified trainer for:

7) Team Building Skills – how to build effective teams.
8) Conflict Resolution Skills – solving conflicts effectively.
9) Customer Service Skills – providing excellent and long-lasting customer service.
10) Public Speaking Skills – designed to help prepare for public speaking events such as presentations at conferences or seminars. It covers topics including how to develop confidence, how to structure a presentation, how to make a good first impression, and how to deliver a powerful message.

My passion lies in helping people develop their communication skills and become more confident when presenting themselves, and implementation of such teaching in specific areas can bring quality interactions into the front line of negotiations and presentations that can significantly increase business performance.
