Executive Communication Skills Programs

KCI's executive communication skills programs focus on a variety of critical executive communication skills. Some of the potential topics covered are handling difficult conversations, persuasive speaking, clear and concise writing, and managing a question and answer session. Additional topics may include:

Presentation Skills Programs

Presentation skills program participants learn the POD process to systematically Plan, Organize, and Deliver their presentations more efficiently and effectively. Participants learn how to plan and organize presentations that focus on their audience. Then they practice their delivery skills during recorded and critiqued practice sessions.

Objectives: Participants in all KCI presentations programs learn to:

Writing Skills Programs

Writing skills program participants learn to write documents that are clear, concise, action-oriented, and easy to read. They practice writing business documents using the POWR writing process, a high-speed writing process used to Plan, Organize, Write, and Revise. A consultant or an editor will then review their business documents and provide feedback.

Objectives: Participants in all KCI writing programs learn to:

  • Save time
  • Overcome writer’s block
  • Use an effective writing process
  • Write with the reader in mind
  • Use brainstorming
  • Use templates
  • Use a step-by-step revision process

KCI’s writing skills programs are available as onsite, highly tailored, consultant-led workshops or as self-directed online programs.

Our onsite workshops utilize internal company documents to tailor the workshop content to the audience’s training objectives.

Our online programs feature our individualized editorial services. Participants can send up to five documents (over a one-year period), which our editors will review and then provide feedback for improvement.

Ecommunication Skills Programs

Email/Voicemail Effectiveness program participants learn a high-speed “thinking” process that will help them plan, organize, and deliver email and voicemail messages that are action oriented, clear, concise, and well organized.

Objectives: Participants will learn to:

  • Use a strong, descriptive subject line
  • Design persuasive messages
